AI PC

2024 is shaping up to be the year of the "AI PC." We got a taste of what AI can offer in 2023 with a potential boost to our productivity and even creative endeavors, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. In 2024 we will see AI in computers that has the potential to transform the way we interact with our PCs and make this the biggest year for laptops in a decade.
While we are used to hearing that a new chipset may give a 10-20% performance boost, the claims coming out of every major player in the industry are far loftier this year. Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm are all making similarly bold claims about not only the performance benefits of their AI-infused chipsets integrating with AI applications from around the industry, but battery life should also improve dramatically thanks to AI enhancements. This isn't even touching on some of the fantastical capabilities of the AI features within the software itself.
We are just taking our first steps into the AI PC world, but the excitement is palpable across the industry, and it is certainly a thrilling time to be a laptop reviewer. We relish the opportunity to guide you through what has the potential to be one of the most transformative years for laptops, so bookmark this page and we'll keep you up-to-date with news, reviews, op-eds, and features on everything AI PC.
